Grandma's Apple Pie

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients for the dough in a large bowl, then add the butter and eggs. Knead until the ingredients are mixed well and the dough has a sticky consistency.
  2. Split the dough into 3 equal parts. Roll out one third for the base and place it into a cake pan. Use the second part to form an edge along the sides. On a baking paper, roll out the last part to the same size as the base and set aside.
  3. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the cake base. Peel and core the apples, then thinly slice and layer them on top of the breadcrumbs. Mix in the raisins, sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Preheat the oven to 175°C. Carefully flip the remaining dough onto the apples and peel off the baking paper.
  5. Place in the oven and bake for 60 minutes.
